If your current digital, you can not manually set the ISO, aperture and shutter speed, control probably not.

If you are a student ... Why can not a teacher?

Ok, I understand. It is an online school. You need to send via email. Here is the address.

Cheap SLR everywhere. This is a classic:

What are the prerequisites for the course? If the course you are taking a "survey" course, or history of photography in which we must ask ourselves not to take pictures will not be a problem. Believe me, it gives you a very specific guidelines for the needs of the photographic equipment, all races need, try not to be denied.

You should probably a better camera, especially for a film SLR or DSLR, as soon as possible. Your device has a user manual? Even if so, taking pictures with a compact is more difficult than shooting with an SLR camera. You should really take a look around a new camera.

I do not recommend - take your own, is always available to solve a world of potential headaches.

They have a very difficult period "in development" of his film and to make contacts for the class. The first part of the class would probably be a lot of 35 mm (perhaps 120 or4x5) film.

Here you will find a good used Nikon and Canon lenses on craigslist for under $ 150 with a lens. I bought a Nikon N60 with 28 ~ 85mm lens for my ex recently for $ 50
